Brendan Elliston

Supatan Bikes Co.

Supatan Bikes is a local bike repair shop. When the owner, Carim Supatan, expressed he was planning to expand, I advised refreshing his logo before buying signage or workwear.

Here’s the new logo:

Why a Logo Refresh?

A few reasons behind refreshing his new logo were:

Before: Original Logo Design

After: New Logo Design

Refreshed Logo

The refreshed logo eliminates the use of grey, features a modern typeface (font), thickened and reduced the number spokes, used more blue to brighten up the logo and utilised negative space (the white) for the name to give it a “stamp-of-approval-esque” look.

A word from the Owner:

“As a small business owner, with a million things on the list, a brand refresh wasn’t something I thought needed doing. But after some explanation and reasoning from Brendan, I went ahead with his idea… and boy was I amazed. The business now looks a whole lot more professional, a lot more presentable and has given us a lot more confidence in our brand.  It’s like getting a fresh cut from a top notch barber – except it lasts longer than a week! Thanks Brendan!”
